MIRPURKHAS: Eight students suffered varying degrees of head injuries in a government primary school in Tando Adam, Sanghar district, on Monday when a large portion of concrete roof plaster collapsed on them in a classroom.
The injured were immediately rushed to Tando Adam taluka hospital where they were provided treatment.
Sanghar deputy commissioner set up a three-member committee to probe the incident and submit to him a report at the earliest.
Sources said that the already dilapidated school building got weakened further in the wake of heavy rainfall, which caused seepage and led to roofs` plaster to come off.
