KARACHI: An antiterrorism court on Monday remanded a suspect in police custody in a double murder case.

Suspect Arshad Qureshi, said to be a political activist, has been booked for allegedlykilling Pakistan Tehreek-iInsaf worker Tauseef Ali Hoti and his friend Arif in August last year in Garden.

The investigation officer produced the suspectin court and sought custody for questioning.

ATC-III Judge Saleem Raza Baloch remanded him in police custody for one week.
