KARACHI: A young motorcyclist was killed while 10 students, including females, were injured when a `fast moving` university bus overturned in a Manghopir locality on Wednesday, police said.

They added that apparently the fast moving bus carrying students of the Hamdard University overturned while trying to save the motorcyclist near Noorani restaurant at Jamali Goth. The 30-yearold motorcyclist, Sanaullah, died after being hit by the bus.

At least 10 students received injuries, said Manghopir SHO Ghulam Husain Korai. None of them sustained critical injuries and they were discharged after first aid from hospital.

The driver managed to escape leaving behind the bus, which was impounded by the police, added the officer.
