JI vows to continue anti-corruption drive

NOWSHERA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Jamaat-i-Islami chief Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has said that following allegations of corruption Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan couldnotgotogether.

Addressing his party workers here, he said that they would continue their campaign against corruption. `Only JI can provide clean leadership to the country,` he claimed and said that if voted to power his party had the capability to end power loadshedding in the country and restore dignity of the green passport.

He claimed that none of the members of JI was involved in any kind of corruption. He said that the problems of power loadshedding and corruption would be resolved once and for all if JI came into power.

The party`s provincial chief said that the political parties should study the sit-in JI had staged under the leadership of Qazi Hussain Ahmad to draw a lesson. He said that the youth were discouraged by those political parties who would raise their slogan and now their eyes were focused on JI.

He said that they would continue their struggle against corruption through different ways, including courts. He said that JI could bring a real change in the country. He added that they had started the party`s reorganisation.

JI`s district chief Haji Anwarul Islam, Qazi Lugman and others were also present on this occasion.
