BAHAWALNAGAR: Two of a family suffered multiple injuries after the roof of a room in their house collapsed on them on in the Fordwah area on Arifwala Road on Sunday night.

Rescue 1122 said that six members of the family were living in the house when that the roof of their dilapidated house caved in and the two members of the family, Maqbool (60) and Asia (7) suffered minor injuries.

The Rescue 1122 teams reached the site and provided first-aid.

They said other members of the family sur-vived because they were present in other parts of the house at the time when roof of a room in the house collapsed.

ROBBERY: The A Division police has not made any recovery of valuables in a robbery from a cop in broad daylight three days ago despite the police claiming to have arrested the culprits the same day.

The FIR registered with A Division police stated that Head Constable Shabbir Ahmad of CTD Lines was on his way home at about 6am when near Fordwah Bridge, two armed men intercepted him and snatched cash, CNIC, police service card and mobile phone and fled.
