CHARSADDA: A man and his son were killed when a relative opened fire on them over a dispute on the construction of a wall here on Sunday.

The victims were identified as Saleh Mohammad and his son, Bashir Alam. The attacker, Ibrahim, who has been serving in the community police force, escaped the area after the killing, police said.

The police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Niaz Mohammad, Saleh’s brother.

Meanwhile, a woman shot dead a man who intruded into her house during night in Umarzai area. The woman, Hameeda, told the police she was alone at home when her neighbour entered her house with ill will. She said she opened fire on the man to protect her honour. She said that her husband was serving in the Frontier Constabulary in Balochistan. The intruder was identified as Jawad. —Correspondent
