ISLAMABAD: A branchless bank service provider has partnered with an Islamabad-based university to introduce teaching of `Fintech Ecosystems` designed to strengthen academia and industry with hands-on insights over the evolving digital financial landscape.

JazzCash Pakistan has partnered with FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences to introduce an elective, `Fintech Ecosystems,` for the School of Management students. The course duration is 16 weeks, according to a press release issued after a ceremony held at the university. President JazzCash Murtaza Ali has said the collaboration would allow the next generation to be inspired and nurtured as future fintech leaders by integrating industry expertise into the classroom.

`We want to empower students with the tools and knowledge so that students can contribute towards the digital financial services industry` Mr Ali added.

While Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences FAST-NUCES Dr Sadia Nadeem said this course would offer students a real-world understanding of the fintech sector, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the global financial ecosystem` she added. Staff Reporter
