TAXILA: Armed persons wearing blue uniforms looted over 87,000 riyals and other currencies from an overseas Pakistani who had just returned from Saudi Arabia after many years of labour.

The incident took place near Bhallar Top railway crossing on Hattar road within the limits of Taxila police station.

Basitur Rehman reported to police that he along with his father, a brother-in-law and driver was heading towards his native village in a Suzuki van after landing at Islamabad International Airport.
