GUJRANWALA: The All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca) and low cadre employees of the government departments observed a complete strike and held a demonstration on GT Road to press for their demands on Tuesday.

Theprotestersgathered in the compound of their of fices af ter boycott of the work. They chanted slogans against the government for ignoring theirdemands for increase in salaries and other allowances. They demanded that their salaries and allowances be increased according to the price hike.

Apca district president Asif Khan and others visited various government departments and took their colleagues on board regarding the protest.

Later, they marched on GT Road carrying banners and placards in their hands inscribed slogans in support of their demands.
