OKARA: A man and his two children suffered sever burns when a fire erupted in a jewellery shop in village 35/2R on Tuesday.
Muhammad Riaz runs a jewellery shop in the village where a gas cylinder was being used in the ornament making. The fire erupted in the shop because of the gas leakage from the cylinder.
Riaz and his children Abdur Rafy and Ali suffered burns and were shifted to the Okara District Headquarters City Hospital by Rescue 1122.
RAPE CASE: The Gogera police registered a case against three people for raping a teenage boyfor eight months by threatening him with making public his naked pictures and the rapefootage.
The father of the boy reported the gang to the police that his son went missing from home on Monday for a few hours.
He with his brothers searched for him, and found the boy on Dr Aslam Road near the DPS School of the town.
As the boy saw his family, he started crying, and briefed them about the blackmailing of the people. The gang had also forced him to bring cash, grocery and gold ornaments from the house.
The Gogera police registered a case under sections 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code against the three people.
