PESHAWAR: Rescue 1122 and Airport Security Force (ASF) on Sunday conducted a joint safety training operation at the Bacha Khan International Airport here.
Bilal Ahmed Faizi, a spokesman of 1122, said the training was meant to train the employees of relevant departments so that they could carry out operations in case of any untoward incident on the premises of the airport.
During the training operation, the employees were taught the method to rescue the people in need and shift them to hospitals within the shortest possible time to save their lives.
Mr Faizi said such training operations were regularly conducted in collaboration with different organisations, educational institutions and law enforcement agencies, so that they could improve their skills and meet the challenges, especially in the prevailing uncertain situation in the country.
The joint training operations would continue in future, he said, adding that a number of educational institutions had already sought cooperation from the Rescue 1122 in this regard and groups of students had also been trained.Bureau Report
