LAHORE: The narrowing space for freedom of expression has begun to trouble working journalists as well as civilians who discussed this in a press conference on Friday.

The conference was held at the Lahore Press Club marking World Press Freedom Day and was organised by the Digital Rights Foundation (DRF).

Representatives of both DRF as well as the Network of Women Journalists for Digital Rights (NWJDR) expressed that this rapidly eroding space for the freedom of expression was penurbing to say the least and was prevalent all over the country, in both online and offline spaces.

They said that this was an `extremely disturbing trend` and was stifling the citizens` right to free expression.-Staff Reponer
