Man held for cybercrime

ABBOTTABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency`s cybercrime wing has arrested a man on charges of blackmailing and harassing a woman through digital media.

Officials said that a woman of Mansehra had lodged a complaint with FIA Abbottabad wherein she alleged that a man named, Nawaz, resident of Kohistan, was blackmailing and harassing her on the social media.

A raiding team of the FIA cybercrime wing was constituted immediately and the accused was arrested from Mansehra.

A case has been registered against the accused andinvestigationis underway.

C O N S T A B L E ARRESTED: A constable was arrested by the Bagnother police on Friday on charges of killing two persons and injuring two others while firing into the air during a mar-riage ceremony in Sarbhana village late on Thursday night.

The accused, Abdul Khaliq, was allegedly drunk when he resorted to firing in the air during the marriage ceremony.

During the firing frenzy by the accused, four people received bullets. Two of them died on the spot, while two others were injured.

The dead were identified as Abid Khan and SaqibKhan.

The injured men, Khursheed and Munsif Khan, were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex, where they were stated to be in precarious condition.

SHO Bagnother police station, Inspector Riaz Khan immediately arrested the accused, who is a constable in Abbottabad police and was serving in Nawan Sher area. A case has been registered against him. Correspondent
