SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Two children suffered injuries when a landmine went off in the Makin tehsil of Upper South Waziristan tribal district on Friday.

According to the police, the two children were going home in Mandrich area when they were hit by the landmine explosion. The injured children were identified as Hizbullah, 10, and Abu Bakar, 12. They were shifted to a hospital in Bannu, said the police.

On April 13, three children were killed in a landmine explosion in Shawal tehsil of Upper South Waziristan district. — Correspondent
