ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday and briefed him about operational preparedness of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), particularly training.

The prime minister praised professionalism of the PAF and said that the country’s forces were able enough to promptly respond to any kind of threat to the motherland.

Matters pertaining to PAF developmental strategy and future force goals were also discussed, a statement issued by the PM Office said.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Adviser to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz were also present in the meeting.—APP
