KHUZDAR: A security man was killed and seven others were injured when their vehicle collided with an oil tanker on the QuettaKarachi highway in Kalat district on Monday.

Police said the vehicle of the Frontier Corps was patrolling in the area when it collided with the oil tanker coming from the opposite direction.

After the accident eight injured were taken to the Kalat district hospital where one died during treatment.

The other seven injured were later shifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Quetta.

Meanwhile, a leader of Jamiat Ulema-iIslam (JUI-F) in Balochistan was killed and his son injured in a road accident near Karachi.
