Four children swept away by floodwaters

MIRAMSHAH: Six children were swept away when heavy rain caused flooding in a seasonal drain in North Waziristan Agency on Monday.

Local residents said that two children were rescued while four others, including a girl, drowned.

Later, bodies of three were fished out while one child is stilling missing. Ages of the children are stated to be between 7 and 10 years.

The children were crossing the dry drain when all of a sudden flooding caused by heavy rain in catchment Sarobi area swept them away.
