Eight injured in grenade attack

GWADAR: Eight people, two security officials among them, were injured in a grenade attack in Turbat town on Wednesday.
Police said that some miscreants hurled the grenade at the Buleda bus stop near Clock Chowk when the people were waiting for the bus.
The grenade blast left eight people injured, two of them FC personnel who were performing duty there.
Members of security forces immediately reached the area of the attack and took the injured to Turbat district hospital.
They also cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.
`We received eight injured people, including two FC men and a 10-year old child,` hospital officials said, adding that all the injured were hit by splinters of the grenade.
However, they said, the condition of all the injured was stable.
The injured were identified as Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Zahid (FC soldiers), 10-year-old child Abdul Wadood, Muhammad Akhlaq, Imdad Ali, Amir Bakhsh, Muhammad Bakhsh and Shnoon.
