KARACHI: A suspected robber was shot dead in an alleged encounter on National Highway on Tuesday.
Police said that a police patrol on the complaint of a robbery victim chased fleeing suspects. In an ensuing exchange of gunfire at Steel Town main gate, one suspect, later identiñed as Mohammed Bilawal, 28, was gunned down on the spot while his two accomplices managed to escape from the crime scene.
