BATKHELA, Nov 3: A man on Sunday killed his drug addict son after exchange of hot words with him in Malakand protected area here.

Malakand Levies officials said that Mukamal Shah opened fire on his son, Shahid, after a verbal brawl with him in Matlani area, injuring him critically. He was taken to DHQ hospital, Batkhela where he succumbed to his wounds.

Shahid was drug addict and always quarreled with his parents, local residents said.

The Qulanagi Levies lodged FIR against Mukamal Shah on the complaint of mother of the deceased and started investigation. -Correspondent
