ISLAMABAD: The capital police have arrested eight outlaws from different parts of the city and recovered liquor, narcotics and looted items from their possession, police said on Monday.

According to details, Shahzad Town police arrested a bootlegger after a recovery of 200 bottles of wine from him, while the Bani Gala police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in theft and recovered looted items worth thousands of rupees from h im.

The Kohsar police arrested three persons and recovered 560gram hashish and 8 tins of beer from their possession, while the Golra police arrested three persons and recovered two bottles of liquor from their possession.

Separate cases have been registered against them and further investigations were in progress.
