LADDAH: A commander of Majlis-i-Shura Mujahideen, North Waziristan Agency has said that the government should make arrangements for the early return of the internally displaced persons to their homes.

Talking to Dawn on telephone from an undisclosed location here the other day, Maulvi Aleem Khan Muttaqi said that the Shura Mujahideen had long before the launch of operation Zarb-i-Azb made efforts for maintenance of peace in the region.

He said that they hoped that the government would also take solid steps to reciprocate their efforts for the establishment of peace in the region.

Maulvi Aleem said that the government should make arrangements for the early return of the internally displaced persons to North Waziristan Agency.
