Food units, eateries sealed

LAHORE: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) teams on Tuesday sealed various food manufacturing units, eateries, restaurants etc, besides imposing fine on others for nouting hygiene standards and laws in various parts of the city.
According to a spokesman, a special team headed by PFA Director (operations) Ms Ayesha Mumtaz sealed Take Care Foods and Super Fine Water on Bund Road and imposed fine on Haidar Ali Bakery.
The team also sealed Ali Tikka Shop, Al-Khair Restaurant, Punjab Naan Shop, Nageebia Fish and Chargha and Bismillah Sajji on Wahdat Road.
Another PFA team in Shahdara andBadami Bagh Bus Stand areas (Ravi Town) sealed Aero Foods and Cherry Foods and imposed fine on Ghausia Hotel, Bismillah Hotel, Bholay Da Hotel and Malik Sweets.
The officials in Shalimar Town`s Bhagatpura locality sealed Al-Fazal Hotel, Salam Mithai and Amir Burger and imposed fine on Akram Milk Point. In Quaid-i-Azam industrial estate (Township, Nishtar Town), the officials sealed Saeed Ghee and Oil Mills and imposed fine on Tayyab Foods.
The PFA officials also sealed Myzona Foods in Taj Bagh (Aziz Bhatti Town), Khan General Store, Yasir and Akmal Awan Store, Rana Pan Shop and Billu Milk Shop in Gulberg and imposed fine on Anarl(ali Restaurant in Data Ganj Bakhsh Town.
