uring a meeting with the Higher Education Committee (HEC) chairman the Ambassador of Yemen, Mohammad Motahar Alashabi said he wanted to send Yemeni students to Pakistan in order for them to attend Pakistani universities.
The ambassador appreciated the progress made in the higher education sector in Pakistan and HEC Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed explained to him the achievements of the HEC since its inception in 2002.
The ambassador was told that the number of educational institutions has been increased to 180.
The HEC chairman assured the ambassador of full cooperation in facilitating Yemini students in coming to Pakistan and pursuing education in Pakistani universities.
