SUKKUR: A family bringing an ailing member back home in Tangwani town of Kandhkot-Kashmore district after getting him discharged from the Sukkur Civil Hospital was looted by dacoits along Mirza Wah (irrigation channel) near Khanpur section of Indus Highway on Friday.
The victims, holding a demonstration at the crime scene, told local reporters that their car was chased and intercepted by the outlaws, who robbed them of their money, mobile phones and other valuables. They said the children accompanying them remained terrified while the armed robbers were looting them.
They wondered that the policemen sitting in a picket at some distance from the crime scene did not move to challenge the outlaws.
Bank customer with Rsim still missing Relatives of a missing person, along with a large number of Sakrand residents, held a noisy demonstration outside the Shikarpur Press Club on Friday over failure of police to locate him.
Speaking to the media, the protesters said that Anwar Rajpar had drawn Rsim from a bank branch in Dadu and was returning home in Sakrand by his car when he went missing.
