KARACHI: The British police have extended the ball of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain till April 14, 2015, in the money laundering case.
According to an MQM statement released from London on Wednesday, the Metropolitan Police Service informed Mr Hussain through his lawyers that his `police bail has been extended on the same terms until 14th April 2015.
On June 3, Mr Hussain was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
Soon after his arrest he was shifted to a hospital, where he underwent some tests. On June 7, he was released from police custody on bail af ter nine-hour interrogation.
