I HAVE visited many cities in the developing world and found most of them gave a better look than Karachi.
I am criticising my beloved city for the slovenly look it presents for two reasons.One there is uncollected trash strewn all over the place; and two wherever one happens to look, one will see all sorts of wires hanging be it electricity, telephones or cable TV. In fact the beauty of this city has been spoilt by these hanging nay sagging-wires.
I appeal to the authorities to take measures to transfer the cables of all utilities and cable TV underground. This measure alone will give a great facelift to our city.
