IT has become quite easy to produce a movie and make it a blockbuster in Bollywood and earn millions. All it needs is an anti-Pakistan theme. The trend got started when fictional stories revolving around the theme of Partition attractedthe masses in India. Later, it became an established business strategy for guaranteed commercial success.

The Indian filmmakers must understand that it is their duty to avoid focussing on content that harms others` emotions.

Unfortunately, such films create hatred among Pakistanis and Indians for each other. Instead, they should try producing films that promote harmony between the two countries.

This will be a win-win situation, for such movies will earn accolades in both the countries. It is time for Indian moviemakers to think on these lines.
