GUJAR KHAN: Burglars stole electric batteries from a shop located in a commercial centrein Daultalaon Thursday night.

The owner of the shop told police that when he came to the shop on Friday morning he found locks of the shops broken and dozens of batteries worth Rs300,000 were stolen.

He said watchman of the market told the police that when four people came in a car broke open the locksat about 2:30am.

As he was unarmed, he saw the activities of the burglars silently. Af ter loading the batteries in the car they escaped.

The traders of Daultala have urged upon thecity police officer Rawalpindi to ensure night patrolling of the Jatli police in the area.
