TAXILA: A woman fed up with domestic violence shot dead her husband in village Kamalpur Musa in the limits of Hazro police in Attock on Saturday.

According to police sources, the couple hailing from KP was living in a rented house in the village.

The sources said Abdullah Khan subjected his wife Nazakat Bibi, mother of four, to domestic violence.

On Saturday, when the man thrashed her, the woman took out a pistol and shot him dead and fled. Police shifted the body to the tehsil headquarters hospital Hazro.

Moreover, a man was gunned down over an old enmity in Mirza village in the limits of Attock police. Police said 32-year-old Babar Hashmat was present at his house when two masked men entered and shot him dead.
