DERA GHAZI KHAN: A violent clash between two tribal groups left five people dead in Taman Khosa in the jurisdictions of the Border Military Police (BMP) Station Kashoba.

The incident, fueled by an alleged honour dispute, has escalated tensions in the area, prompting a heavy deployment of the BMP personnel.

According to a source connected with the Ladi gang, Kala Hanif Jandani was killed over an alleged honour-related dispute. In retaliation, his accomplices stormed the area and killed Hayat Aaliani Halti. The killing triggered a fierce gun battle between the Jindani and Aaliani tribes, resulting in the deaths of three more individuals identified as Sacha Jarwar, Roshni Makwal and Aziz Jindani.

In response to the escalating violence, BMP Commandant Muhammad Asad Khan Chandia reinforced security by deploying additional force of four border military police stations.

Meanwhile, BMP Station Kashoba Station House Officer Muhammad Younis Khosa is engaging with tribal elders to defuse the tension. However, the situation is tense and the bodies had not been retrieved yet when this report was filed. Correspondent
