SARGODHA: The AntiCorruption Establishment (ACE) has arrested Abdul Aziz, who was allegedly involved in altering official property records in collusion with Revenue Department staff.

According to details, an organised group in Sargodha was fraudulently manipulating registry records to sell properties through forgery.

Following an inquiry that confirmed the allegations, a case was registered against Aziz at the ACE police station in Sargodha.

During the probe, it was revealed that Aziz and his accomplices had forged a registered sale deed and inserted it into official records. He was arrested in Chak 10-SB, Kot Momin tehsil.TECHNICAL COLLEGE: A technical college for women has been inaugurated in Chak 90-SB Anwarabad, Sargodha.

The college offers free admission to computer, beautician, and sewing courses to empower women with employable skills.

Speaking at the inauguration, Muhammad Hafeezullah Butt, in charge of the Raza Mustafa Welfare Foundation, said the sewing course requires a primary-level education and spans one year (six months of cutting and six months of stitching).

The beautician course requires a middle-level education, with options for six-month or one-year training.

The computer course, also open to middle-level students, ranges from three to six months and covers office work, digital marketing, and software skills.Currently, 17 students have enrolled in the sewing course, 10 in the beautician course, and 8 in the computer course.

The monthly fee is set at Rs.

300, with all expenses covered by the institution. The initiative aims to enhance women`s economic independence and skill development.

WORKSHOP: The Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) at the University of Sargodha (UoS) conducted a two-day training workshop titled `Leading with Purpose: Beyond Management` aimed at enhancing leadership effectiveness among deans, principals, directors and chairpersons of teaching departments.

The workshop was inaugurated by Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mian Ghulam Yasin and attended by prominent figures, including Prof. Dr.

Muhammad Rizwan (chairmanof Department of Clinical Psychology, University of MedicalSciences,Rawalpindi), Mirza Masood Baig (ex-PTV director), Khursheed Yusuf (consultant of HRDC) and Dr Fayyazur Rehman.

Dr Rizwan led a session on `Stress Management and Mindfulness` highlighting the importance of mental wellbeing in leadership. Mr Baig discussed `Failure is not your enemy: cultivating emotional intelligence for resilient leadership`, encouraging participants to develop emotional intelligence and reframe failure as a learning tool.

Khursheed Yusuf provided insights on `Transformational Leadership`, while Dr Fayyazur Rehman explored `Technology & Practical Tools for Coordination`, demonstrating how AI-powered tools can enhance efficiency and real-time communication.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Prof Yasin emphasised the significance of transformational leadership in higher education and commended HRDC`s efforts in developing academic leaders. He also distributed participation certificates among attendees.

DIES: A 50-year-old passenger died at a bus stand in Sargodha on Sunday.

The body was shifted to the hospital, and police have launched an investigation.

According to sources, the unidentified man was sitting near Stand No 44 when he passed away.

Upon receiving the report, authorities shifted the body to DHQ Teaching Hospital.

The deceased`s identity has yet to be established, and police are working to determine the cause of death.
