LAHORE: The Punjab Local Government and Community Development Department has directed the deputy commissioners to publicise the availability of voter lists at different display centres in their jurisdictions while utilising local resources.

It said the DCs should persuade people through announcements and local advertisements to get their votes registered and cast votes in the upcoming generalelection.

The voters may include, exclude and verify their names at display centres in their respecdve union councils on specified forms till April 24. No change in voter lists will be allowed af ter the expiry date.

The LG department has asked the DCs to make sure announcements be made at all mosques besides radio and local cable system.
