BAHAWALPUR: Two persons were killed and five others suffered serious injuries in three road accidents in Bahawalpur and Lodhran districts on Tuesday.

According to District Emergency Officer (DEO) Baqir Hussain of the Rescue 1122, two motorcyclists Asif, 25, and Shakir, 22, were killed while Arshad, 30, and Asif, 26, suffered injuries in a collision between a tractor-trolley and a motorcy-cle on Kudwala Road in Yazman tehsil, about 40km from here.

An arm of Abdul Shakoor was cut in a saw machine at Uch Sharif, about 70km from here.

Shabbir, 35, and Abdul Salam, 12, were seriously injured when the rifle of a security guard went off accidentally outside a mosque at Pipalwali Market in Kahror Pakka, Lodhran district.

The injured were shifted to the THQ Hospital.
