SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A tribal elder was kidnapped and subsequently killed by unidentified armed men in Ladda tehsil of Upper South Waziristan district, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday when the tribal elder, Sher Zaman, was abducted while on his way home. His body was found on Friday in the foothills of nearby a mountain.

According to police, the kidnapping took place in the Tangi Bodenzai area. After kidnapping, Sher Zaman was killed and his body was dumped in the mountains.
