QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has rejected the resignation tendered by Sardar Aslam Bizenjo, adviser on financial affairs, and asked him to continue performing his duties.
Mr Bizenjo, who belongs to the National Party, had submitted his resignation two weeks ago, complaining that the bureaucracy was interfering in the finance department af fairs and he was not being taken intoconfidence in the preparation of the coming budget.
In his resignation sent to the chief minister, he also complained that the planning and development department was not allowing him to work freely.
According to official sources on Thursday, Chief Minister Zehri rejected the resignation and asked Mr Bizenjo to continue to work as his adviser on finance.
Mr Bizenjo, who also holds the portfolio of minister for agriculture, was not available for comment.
