FAISALABAD: PPP leader and former federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat and his driver, Qasim, sustained multiple injuries when their vehicle hit a divider on motorway, about six kilometres from the Kamalpur interchange,late on Wednesday.

Both were shifted to the Allied hospital where condition of the driver, Qasim, was pronounced critical. They were on way to Jhang when they met the accident. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to the hospital. Mr Hayat is also a spiritual leader of Shah Jewena shrine and scores of his followers rushed to the Allied hospital to enquire after him.
