KOHAT: Students of Khyber Institute of Dental Sciences here on Tuesday launched a protest campaign against denial of house job to them after the announcement of results on June 3.
About 47 male and female students carrying placards inscribed with slogans ‘give us our right’, ‘save our future’, gathered in front of the college and demanded accountability of the administration officials.
They said house jobs had begun after the affiliation of colleges in other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. But as their institute was not registered with the PMDC they were not being admitted to the house job which would ruin their future.
They said they had been demanding their college’s registration for last four years but the college administration was not serious in solving their problem.
The protesting students said they would stage a protest on daily basis till their admission for house job. — Correspondent
