Mattel,Inc.has announced that Barbie Mysteries: Beach Detectives, the second season of the Barbie Mysteries animated series, will premiere globally on Netflix inAugust. The season includes eight 25-minute episodes filled with exciting new adventures and intriguing mysteries.

In the new season, Barbie `Malibu` Roberts and Barbie `Brooklyn` Roberts attend the Malibu Beach . Bash festival, where they work the food stands alongside friends. When illusionist William Warlock debuts his act, the fun takes a mysterious turn as a series of thefts disrupt the event. With their friends beginning to vanish, the two Barbies must once again become sleuths to unravel a maybe-magical mystery and uncover the truth.

The season also features five new original songs, and a new line of toys inspired by the series, including the Ultimate Beach BuggyTM VehiCle and ßdrbie@ MySterfeS: Beach DetectiveS dolls, playsets and accessories.
