RAWALPINDI: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatha paid a surprise visit to the e-service centre and reviewed the facilities being provided to the public.
A briefing was given to him about the services available at the centre. It was stated that more than 700 people benefited from the facilities of the e-service centre on a daily basis. About 150 services are being provided at the centre by different departments, including Nadra and local government.
The commissioner also visited the counters of various departments at centre. He inquired about the services from the government representatives.
The commissioner said the e-service centre was a good project and should be publicised so that more people could benefit from it.
He also met the representatives of Rawalpindi Development Authority, Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation and told them that the file transmission system should be improved and completed on an urgent basis for the convenience of the citizens. Staff Reporter
