LAHORE: The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) is considering a proposal by the army to build flats for the families of deceased army officials on trust`s land in Lahore.

The proposal was floated by the General Headquarters, according to ETPB Chairman Siddiqu1 Farooq.

`The permission to construct apartments for martyrs will be granted after the completion of legal formalities,` he said at the 304th meeting of the board on Tuesday.

The board members also sought launching construction work on the Baba Gurunanalc University in November. They also sought start of civil work of Gandhara Art University.
