LAHORE: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited says gas theft is a menace and they are trying hard to controllosses.
`We will provide 77,000 connections to domestic consumers in 2016-17. During 2015-16, we disconnected 1,228 connections of consumers and booked a volume of 475 million cubic feet (MMFC) to gas pilferers. We will reduce unaccounted for gas (UFG)loss by l,480MMCF and percentage UFG loss by 1.25pc during the fiscal year,` a press release stated.
