BAHAWALPUR: Naib Subedar Azhar Ali was laid to rest on Wednesday in his ancestral village 46/ DB near Yazman, 30 kilomteres from here.

He had embraced martyrdom in Rajgal valley along Pakistan-Afghanistan bor-der on Tuesday during an attack by militants at the Rajgal military post.

Brigr Saulat Anwar Rana laid a wreath on the grave on behalf of army chief Gen Qamar Bajwa and Corps Commander Lt Gen Sher Afgun.-Correspondent
