QUETTA: Four alleged militants have been killed in an operation carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan police in the Khuzdar area.

Officials said the CTD conducted the operation based on intelligence regarding the presence of armed militants wanted by law enforcement agencies for various terrorist incidents. During the operation, there was a heavy exchange of gunfire, resulting in the deaths of the four alleged terrorists. The bodies of the militants have been shifted to the district hospital in Khuzdar; however, they have not yet been identified. Further investigation is in progress.
