LAHORE: In a complicated surgery, doctors at the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Saturday removed as many as 18 tumours from the uterus of a patient.

Dr Laila Shafiq, consultant gynaecologist at the LGH, says that although the uterus surgery is a routine procedure, this one was unusual in the sense that 18 cysts/tumours have been removed from the organ, claiming it is unprecedented in the recent past.
