FATEHJANG: The Punjab government has released billions of rupees to MPAs for various development projects.

This was stated by MPA Shahwaiz Khan while addressing a public gathering held in connection with the inauguration of a road in Dhoke Maliyar.

He said projects suffered because of the protest by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

The MPA said he considered it his duty to develop the area as people of the constituency had elected him.

He said the area would soon have a girls school, and the Attock education department would acquire land for the purpose and also release funds. He asked the contractor to complete work on the road at the earliest. Correspondent
