Balloting for 3,892 vehicles on 7th

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government will hold computerised balloting on January 7 to hand over 3,892 vehicles to unemployed people in four districts of Rawalpindi Division under the `Apna Rozgar Scheme`.

The event will be held at the Commissioner office under the supervision of Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar.

The provincial government had fixed a quota for Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal.

Under the Apna Rozgar Scheme, the provincial government will give vehicles to unemployed people in the age bracketof21and40years.

`The vehicle will be Rs40,000 cheaper than the market rate and the successful applicant will pay an installment of Rs10,000 per month, Commissioner Zahid Saeed told Dawn.

He said the Bank of Punjab had received applications from across the division. A Reporter
