ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Saleem Bhatti, a grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), assumed the charge of the inspector general of the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) on Monday.

Before becoming the motorway police chief, Mr Bhatti served as the IGP Gilgit-Baltistan. Earlier, he also served as the deputy inspector general motorway police and the additional inspector general Punjab police. Staf f Reporter
