TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor died after he accidentally fell into a container full of boiling milk at a house in Siraj Town at Gojra where awedding function was being held on Sunday.
According to police, Muhammad Amir`s sister`s wedding was being held when his two and a half year old son Danish Ali fell into a cauldron in which milk was being boiled.
The family was out in the street to receive wedding procession when the accident occurred.
The minor who suffered critical burns was rushed to Gojra Tehsil Headquarters Hospital from where doctors referred him to the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad. The minor succumbed to his burns later.
INJURED: A young boy was injured seriously when a guest at a wedding ceremony allegedly resorted to jubilation fire at Chak 688/28 GB on Sunday near Pirmahal.
Police said at Anwar`s wedding, a relative Safdar opened fire in jubilation and a bullet hit the groom`s nephew, Sabir Mehmood, who was seriously injured.
Sabir was under treatment at Toba District Headquarters Hospital.
Pirmahal police said a case had been registered under Section 324 of the PPC and Marriage Act on the complaint of village Chowkidar, Tahir against Safdar.
