SUKKUR: A man was killed and three others were wounded in exchange of fire between two rival groups of Jagirani community in Soomer Jagirani village in riverine area within the jurisdiction of Durrani Mahar police station near Kandhkot on Wednesday.

Police said that Siraj Ahmed Jagirani, 35, died on the spot while three persons suffered wounds and were taken to Ghouspur rural health centre.

The injured were later shifted to a Larkana hospital because of their critical condition while the body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem examination and completion of legal formalities, police said.
